Biography

Academic Qualifications:

  • MSc Food Technology (Post harvest and Food Preservation Engineering)-KU Leaven (2016), BELGIUM.
  • BSc Food Science and Technology-UNZA (2010), ZAMBIA.

Joined UNZA in 2011 in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition as a Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis. Nkonkola was then appointed Staff Development Fellow (SDF) in 2012 and in 2016 appointed as Lecturer, the position I currently hold. His research interest areas are Product Development, Food Preservation of cereals, fruits and vegetables.
