Biography

Mutinke Zulu is a Registered Nurse with a midwifery specialty. She possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science Degree in Nursing (Maternal and Child Health). She is currently working as a Lecturer at the University of Zambia, in the School of Nursing Sciences, Department of Midwifery, Women and Child Health. She is involved in teaching and coordinating midwifery courses as well as supervising undergraduate and co- supervising post graduate research projects.

Prior to this, Mutinke worked as a nurse tutor at Ndola School of Nursing where she was involved in teaching nursing students in Maternal and Child Health. Mutinke has also participated in curricula development and review within the school of Nursing Sciences.  She is also an active member and currently a committee member in the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Midwifery Association of Zambia (MAZ) which is involved in building capacity among midwives in the Nation.  Mutinke is also a committee member of the women’s committee of the University of Zambia Lecturers and Researchers’ Union (UNZALARU).
