Mr Shabani obtained his Bachelor of Engineering Degree (with major in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering) from the University of Zambia in 1998. In 2008, he obtained his MSc Degree in Information Security (Cyber Security) from Royal Holloway, University of London - UK. During his MSc studies, he studied major areas of Security of Information Technology systems (Platforms, Data Networks and Applications). As part of his MSc studies, he also took up a specialist course in Security of Smart Cards (SIM Cards, Chip and PIN Cards, etc.) and Tokens.
