Paul O.C. Masebe is a Chief Scientist working in the Department of Pharmacy, taking students in practical works and research in Biochemistry and Pharmacognosy. His experience spans from 1982 at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH). He joined the University of Zambia in 1984 from the Ministry of Health and has previously worked in the School of Veterinary Medicine where a great deal of research work was conducted and among these, the assessment of reproduction of small ruminants in Zambia using radioimmunoassay techniques.  He also played a key role in the establishment of the UTH Endocrinology laboratory as a national reference centre for Neonatal Hypothyroidism.
