Picture of the main library

The main library offers students a calm environment for studying on four floors. Reading spaces are placed next to the bookshelves, which are divided by the fields of study. Students can conveniently study next to the bookshelf that may be useful for their assignment or research. In addition to reading spaces, students also have the possibility of studying in a computer lab with access to the internet. In the library, there is wireless internet, so studying with your own computer is also possible.

Unza library

The library provides over 1.2milj. volumes, access to 200 databases and more than 72,000 e-journals. Databases include sources: e.g.: from Agora to Cambridge University Online Journals and from EBSCO host Research Databases to HINARI, covering several fields of study.

In the main library, volumes cover fields like education, humanities and social sciences, law, engineering, etc.

The book Collection can be viewed in the catalog.

In the short loan section, students are also able to find old examination papers that may be useful for examination preparation. The special collections section offers students an opportunity to get access to UN publications and Zambian collection.

The library also provides support for students’ assessments. The library is part of the Orientation process for first-year students. It serves as a means of acquainting students with data search within book collections and within databases. The serials Collection or section gives students advice regarding database searches throughout their studies.
