Sylvia Mwanza-Kabaghe has been teaching at the University of Zambia for over 10 years. She is a Lecturer in Educational Psychology and a recipient of International awards with her latest award being the Joep Lange Award for the Best African Scientific Abstract for the 2019 INTEREST Conference in Accra Ghana. She is also a 2018 Mandela Washington Fellow who is a recipient of the Professional Development Experience which saw her have International Work Experience at the Houston Health Department in Texas United States of America. She is a founder member of the Psychology Association of Zambia and a member of the International Society for the Study of Behavioral Development (ISSBD). She serves as the Board Vice-Chairperson for the Positive Movement, Zambia and is Board Chairperson for Proactive Ways Academy.
