    Brief introduction of School

Luanshya Trust School was opened in 1973 in order to offer a qualitative educational system to expatriate children and those of top management of the then Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines ( ZCCM ). From 1996 to date, the school has been managed by different investors. In the year 2010, China Non Ferrous Metal Company (CNMC-CLM ) was awarded the contract to undertake the operation of Luanshya Mine and immediately took over the running of the school.

(a)  Day of experiencing Chinese Culture

ZNBC (Zambia National Broadcast Channel)  made videos for that day. The School held activities like Kongfu, calligraphy, the art of tea, cheongsam show, making dumplings.

(b) Confucius Institute Day

During this celebration, paper cutting and Chinese knots making was done, also watched Chinese films.
