The University of Zambia’s Department of Demography, Population Sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation Centre of Excellence in collaboration with International and Local Cooperating Partners invites applications for the M&E short-course to be conducted online from 8th December to 29th December 2025.
The M&E short-course focuses on the following:
1. Introduction to Monitoring and Evaluation Fundamentals and concepts 2. Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks
3. Monitoring and Evaluation Indicators
4. Monitoring and Evaluation Data Systems
5. Monitoring and Evaluation Data Collection Tools
6. Monitoring and Evaluation Plans
7. Linking M&E Planning Circle and Budgeting
Participants applying to attend this training should have the following requirements:
▪ Understanding of basic statistics
▪ Working in an environment related to Health, Education, Business, Planning, and Research, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation or any other Social and Applied Sciences

The deadline for applications is Friday, 5th December, 2025.
Kindly note that the tuition fee (ZMW 3,000 for local students and USD 200 for international students) is inclusive of the application form, training and examination.
Classes are conducted for 10 working days, from 16:30 – 19:30 Examination and assignment submission to be done in the third week
