Gistered Muleya is a Professor of Civic Education at the University of Zambia and holds a Doctor of Education in Socio- Education with a focus on Civic and Citizenship Education, an MA in Education with a focus in Development Education and Education for Development an MA with specialisation in Religious Studies. Currently he is the Director, Institute of Distance Education of the University of Zambia. His research interests include but not limited to Civic Education and Citizenship Education.Additionally, Professor Muleya is involved in the teaching, supervising of research and examining of doctoral/ masters’ candidates.
