GOVERNMENT PLEDGES TO HELP SORT OUT WATER AND SANITATION PROBLEMS AT UNZA
The Government has pledged to constitute a team of engineers from the Ministry of Water, Development, Sanitation, and Environmental Protection, Lusaka Water Supply, and Sewerage Company (LWSC) which will work with the University of Zambia (UNZA) Resident Engineering department to address the water and sanitation challenges at the institution.
HIGHER EDUCATION AUTHORITY CLASSIFIES UNZA AS A TOP TIER UNIVERSITY
The Higher Education Authority (HEA) has classified the University of Zambia (UNZA) in the highest tier of the Zambia Qualifications Framework (ZQF) 10 following findings of the audit of each higher education institution in Zambia. This entails that UNZA has the capacity to offer a wide range of university programmes from diploma, bachelors, masters to PhD programmes.
SCHOOL OF LAW CONGRATULATES NEWLY APPOINTED CHIEF JUSTICE
The University of Zambia (UNZA) School of Law would like to congratulate Honourable Justice Dr. Mumba Malila S.C. on his appointment as Chief Justice of the Republic of Zambia. Dr. Malila has a distinguished academic background. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the UNZA School of Law, his Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from the University of Cambridge, and a second LLM from the University of Pretoria where he also obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law.
