Biography

Ms. Gertrude Ngenda is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Economic and Social Research. She holds a Master of Science in Rural and Urban Planning from the University of Zimbabwe and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Policy and Project Planning from Institute for Social Studies,The Hague, Netherlands. 

 

Research Interests

Her research interest are in sustainable agriculture, regional and urban development and planning, environmental sustainability issues, gender, sustainability and resilience, sustainable housing, climate science and climate change adaptation and mitigation, intangible cultural heritage, public policy and  advocacy.
