Immigration checklist 

1.    Make an online application for a study permit, attaching the required documents 

2.    Obtaining a Medical Certificate  and clearance at UNZA clinic (or any recognized health institute within Zambia). Fee for medicals at the UNZA Clinic K20.  Submit a Negative Covid-19 Certificate 

3.     Remember  to carry your passport with you throughout the immigration process 

 

UNZA  Registration

1.    Submit a copy of your passport and acceptance letter to the International Link and Liaison Office. The office personnel will then forward your documents for registration to relevant offices for official registration and admission to the University of  Zambia. 

2.    International Link and Liaison Office will officially introduce you to your host School. 

3.    Select courses through the host School. 

3.    Obtain a Medical Certificate for a fee of K200 at the University Clinic. 

4.    Obtain your Student Identification Card. The process is as follows: 

  •    Obtain an introductory letter from the International Link and Liaison Office that proves that you are an  exchange student and also to ensure that you are entitled to have Student Identification Card without any payment. 

  •     Present the introductory letter together with your medical certificate, a copy of your acceptance   letter and a copy        of your passport to the reception of the library for the procedure of the card. 

  • After your exchange, contact the international link Office for any documents to be presented at your home university.
